In obedience to a divine calling, the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America (MJAA) continues to extend its compassionate reach to those in need. Guided by the conviction that serving others is a reflection of God’s love, the MJAA is actively involved in humanitarian missions around the world. One significant chapter of our ongoing mission is dedicated to providing vital assistance to the Jewish communities in Ethiopia.

Answering the Call

The call to aid those in Ethiopia has been heard loud and clear. The MJAA recognizes the urgency of the situation and has committed itself to the provision of life-saving assistance to the Jews still residing in Ethiopia. In alignment with our unwavering belief in the biblical mandate to care for the less fortunate, we embark on a journey to bring hope, healing, and tangible support to those in need.

Medical Care on the Move

One of the primary ways we are making a difference is through mobile medical clinics. Recognizing the critical need for healthcare in the region, we are bringing medical care directly to those who need it most. These mobile clinics are equipped to provide essential medical services, ensuring that individuals in remote areas have access to the care they require.

Quenching Thirst, Saving Lives

Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet it remains a luxury for many in Ethiopia. The MJAA is actively involved in drilling and maintaining dozens of fresh, clean water wells in Jewish communities across Ethiopia. Water-related diseases account for a significant portion of illnesses in the region, and by addressing this basic need, we aim to significantly improve the overall health and well-being of those we serve.

Inspired by Proverbs 19:17

The scriptures remind us, “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given” (Proverbs 19:17). This verse encapsulates the heart of our mission. With deep compassion for the less fortunate, we extend our hands in service, knowing that our actions are not in vain. Every effort, every provision, is a direct expression of our love for God and our commitment to following His call to care for the vulnerable.
