HELPING NEW IMMIGRANTS IN KIRYAT GAT
We recently hosted an event for 200 families in Kiryat Gat, just 30 minutes from the Gaza Strip. This city is home to many Jewish immigrants, including a significant Ethiopian expat community. We provided healthy food, shoes, clothing, and household goods.
Community organizers work tirelessly with different immigrant groups. Many Ethiopian families have endured great loss, with soldiers killed in recent conflicts. The community needs both moral and financial support. The recent civil war in Ethiopia has also affected them, leaving many relatives unable to join their families in Israel.
We also connected with the Indian Jewish Beni Yisrael community. They face numerous challenges, from bureaucratic hurdles to finding professional opportunities. Despite the difficulties, they are a tight-knit community and highly motivated. The recent war has hit them hard, with many losing their jobs and struggling with the high cost of living.
Our goal is to help these resilient communities as much as possible. They deserve a good life, and with your support, we are able to make a difference.
