When Winter and War Collide: Providing Shelter and Hot Meals in Kyiv
In the heart of Kyiv, winter has brought unbearable conditions. With temperatures dropping to 0° Fahrenheit (-18° Celsius), ongoing attacks, power outages, and little to no heating, daily survival has become a challenge for countless families.
As war continues, many homes are left without electricity, grocery stores are forced to close early, and access to basic necessities is increasingly limited. For children, the combination of bitter cold and constant fear has been especially devastating.
Through the partnership of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America and Joseph Project International, emergency relief is reaching those who need it most. Together, we are providing shelter, warmth, and hot meals to children enduring the harsh realities of war.
Thanks to your generous support, this ministry is able to fuel generators that keep lights on, kitchens running, and safe spaces open. Each hot meal served and every warm shelter offered brings comfort, stability, and hope to children suffering in extreme conditions.
This is compassion in action. Your donations are not only meeting physical needs—they are reminding children and families that they are not forgotten, even in the darkest and coldest moments.
Please consider supporting this vital work. Your gift today helps provide warmth, nourishment, and dignity to those bearing the heavy cost of war.
“I will bless those who bless you.” Genesis 12:3
