The Joseph Project International Celebrating Hanukkah with 100 Lone Soldiers in Jerusalem!

On the fourth night of Hanukkah, the Joseph Project International had the privilege of celebrating with 100 incredible lone soldiers in Jerusalem!

A “lone soldier” is a soldier in the IDF with no family in Israel. For more than 7,000 lone soldiers, there is no immediate family in Israel to support them. About 45% of these soldiers are new immigrants, coming from Jewish communities all over the world. Another 50% are Israelis who are orphans or that come from low socio-economic backgrounds.

The Joseph Project International helped facilitate an unforgettable evening filled with warmth, delicious food, drinks, and thoughtful gifts—including shoes, toasters, hygiene kits, neck warmers, and board games.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible—your support helps us continue to bless those who give so much this Hanukkah.

Your support goes beyond meeting immediate needs—it’s about fostering resilience, restoring hope, and creating moments of peace amid turmoil.

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.” Proverbs 3:27
