Daily Nosh

And thus Abraham, having patiently waited, obtained the promise. (ESV) Hebrews 6:15

Nosh: Abraham endured 24 years before the promise the Lord gave him came to pass, a son from whom a great nation would come. Though his faith was tested and challenged over those long years, he never gave up believing that God would fulfill His promise. God’s timing is often quite different from my expectation, thus comes the tendency to feel impatient and frustrated. However, like Abraham, if I hold on in faith believing God’s promise to me, in His perfect timing, that promise will be fulfilled.
