Daily Nosh

And let our people learn to devote themselves to doing mitzvot (good deeds) to meet urgent needs, so they will not be unfruitful. (TLV) Titus 3:14

Nosh: The mature Godly life is not self-centered but rather selfless. It seeks out ways to serve and bless others especially those in needy and tragic circumstances. I often remind myself that leading a servant-life does not come naturally and, as the verse instructs, needs to be learned through the continuous practice of doing good for others. In other words, selflessness is an acquired skill. The more I practice it the more natural it will feel and the more fruitful I am for the Lord.
