The Daily Nosh – Titus 3: 9-11

But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about Torah (law), for they are unprofitable and useless. Dismiss a quarrelsome person after a first and second warning, knowing that such a person is twisted and is sinning – he is self-condemned. (TLV) Titus 3: 9-11
Nosh: Contentious people love controversy. Within a congregation, they stir up division, destroy unity, and create spiritual dysfunction. Not dealing decisively with them or expelling the source of the contention invites serious harm. This truth can also be applied personally. Be wise. Protect yourself from such people and the harm they invite.
