The Daily Nosh – Revelations 5:8
When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense – which are the prayers of the kedoshim (saints). (TLV) Revelations 5:8
Nosh: This is a wonderful and graphic picture of how our prayers are received by God. We might feel that our prayers are insignificant or even worse – a nuisance or burden. But in God’s world, He welcomes them as pleasurable sweet smelling incense. What a wonderful encouragement this is to pray and bring our petitions to God as often as possible. He likes it. It makes Him happy.
