The Daily Nosh – Psalms 56:9-10

: You have recorded my wanderings. You put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book? Then my enemies will turn back in the day I call. This I know – God is for me. Psalms 56:9-10
Nosh: These verses reveal a deeply comforting revelation about God’s love and concern for those who have given their hearts and lives to Him. As the Psalmist indicates, God not only hears our cries for help in times of trouble, but carefully records and stores in a book the story of our lives and our tears of suffering. Most importantly, David reveals that it is only after God hears our cries, “in the day that I call,” that He is moved to answer our prayers and send deliverance. This is why we need a strong and consistent prayer life. Good things happen when we regularly verbalize our requests to God!
