The Daily Nosh – Psalms 54:4, 7
Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies. (ESV) Psalms 54:4, 7
Nosh: Throughout our lives, we all experience trials and tribulations. What is remarkable in this passage is that David says God delivers him from not some but all of them. When we give our hearts to God, like David, God makes it His business to become intimately involved with our lives and is not only aware of every danger and difficulty we face but is working with us to overcome each and every one of them successfully.
