The Daily Nosh – Psalms 53:2
God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. (ESV) Psalms 53:2
Nosh: I like what this verse infers. “Who seek after God” implies that the seeker understands there must be a designer, a creator. Apparently, there is so much evidence of God’s existence in creation itself it should result in men seeking the source. Furthermore, the fact that God is paying such great attention to us individually implies that He desires a personal relationship with us and is actively pursuing those who may desire the same with Him. I find that amazing, encouraging, and humbling.
