For you bless the righteous, O Lord, you cover him with favor as with a shield. Psalms 5:12
Nosh: When I think of God’s favor, I think of Him supporting and promoting my endeavors in life toward a successful conclusion. However, as David points out, favor is a two-sided coin. Not only does the Lord promote our endeavors but, equally important, protects us from those people or circumstances that come against us to harm or destroy. God’s favor is truly a priceless benefit in our lives to be thankfully acknowledged and not taken for granted.
