The Daily Nosh – Psalms 130:5-7
I wait for Adonai (the Lord) my soul waits, and in His word I hope. My soul waits for my Lord, more than the watchmen for the morning, watchmen for the morning. O Israel, wait for Adonai. For with Adonai there is loving- kindness, and with Him is full redemption. (TLV) Psalms 130:5-7
Nosh: Patience and perseverance are the keys to answered prayer and fulfilled hope. Like the watchman who anticipates the morning dawn, David confidently expects that God’s deliverance will appear. His expectation is based on his conviction that God loves him and loves Israel, and that God’s love for His faithful children is the divine motivator.
