(27) Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. (28) Do not say to your neighbor, “Go and come again, tomorrow I will give it” – when you have it with you. (TLV)
Solomon exhorts us that it is wrong to put off doing the fair and right thing for others in the present when we have the capability and opportunity. He infers that when we sow the seed of unfairness and injustice towards others we reap the same delay of earned blessing and benefit in our lives.
