Daily Nosh

Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul out of troubles. (TLV) – Proverbs 21:23

Nosh: A loose tongue, that is quick and hastily utters words in anger, often creates unnecessary trouble for its host. When I find anger rising up inside of me, practicing controlling my tongue and remaining silent have saved me much unnecessary heartache. If I wait even a few hours or a day before responding to the source of provocation, I find that I can often handle the situation very differently and with far less stressful repercussions.
