Nosh: How we speak to someone affects how successful we are in persuading them. Sweetness of speech implies a verbal presentation characterized by kindness and humility. Although there is no guarantee, more often than not, sweetness of speech results in increased openness to what we are saying. Conversely, harsh or arrogant words increase resistance.
