The Daily Nosh – Nehemiah 9:8
(Speaking about Abraham.)
You found his heart faithful before you and made the covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, Hittite, Amorite, Perizzite, Jebusite, and Girgashite to his seed. You have fulfilled your words, for You are righteous. (TLV) Nehemiah 9:8
Nosh: God cannot lie. God is truth. God defines truth. Therefore, He is careful to keep every promise He makes. For as He did in fulfilling His promise to Abraham in this passage, He must fulfill the promises He has made to us in His Word. It’s a matter of divine integrity. Remember this and believe it.
