(37) “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her. How often I longed to gather your children together under her wings, but you were not willing. (38) Look, your house is left to you desolate! (39) For I tell you, you will never see me again until you say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” (TLV)
Although this passage appears to be dark and prophetic, there is embedded a great truth and divine blessing. The pre-requisite for transforming and positive life change is heart change. As Yeshua prophecies concerning Israel and His second coming indicate, when Israel’s heart changes to embrace Yeshua, He will return to Jerusalem in great power as their King Messiah. Likewise, when our hearts are in the right place with God, His partnership, direction and supernatural blessing is enabled and our lives transformed.
