Yeshua also said, “How should we picture the kingdom of God? Or by what story should we present it? It is like a mustard seed when it’s planted in the ground. Though the smallest of all seeds in the earth, yet when planted it grows up and becomes the largest of all herbs. It puts forth big branches, so the birds of the air can nest in its shade.” (TLV) – Mark 4:30-32
Nosh: This is a beautiful illustration of how God desires that we, as part of His kingdom and family, should handle the supernatural and abundant blessing He provides for us. Not only are they meant to be personally enjoyed, but His abundant blessings are also to be generously and selflessly shared (like the birds of the air in this passage) with others outside of our immediate circle.
