The Daily Nosh – Joshua 10:12-13a

At that time Joshua spoke to the Lord in that day when the Lord gave the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, “Sun stand still at Gibeon, and moon in the valley of Aijalon.” And the sun stood still, and the moon stopped until the nation took vengeance on their enemies. Nosh: Joshua acted on his faith in God in front of all Israel to ask for supernatural intervention to accomplish God’s purpose and plan. He got it and then some. Sometimes, God may lead us to take public steps of faith at the risk of public humiliation in order to see the release of the supernatural in our lives. As Joshua illustrates, active faith is a divine motivator.
