The Daily Nosh – II Thessalonians 2:9-12

The coming of the lawless one is connected to the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with every kind of wicked deception toward those who are perishing. For this reason God sends them a delusional force to lead them to believe what is false, so that they may be judged – all those who did not believe the truth but delighted in wickedness. (TLV) II Thessalonians 2:9-12
Nosh: The context and focus of this passage is the prophetic rise of the anti-Messiah in latter days just before Messiah returns. This period is accompanied by an increase of deception and lawlessness. Lawlessness is a direct result of a rejection of God’s authority and righteous standard. It leads to the abandonment of moral constraint and an increase of evil conduct that brings a rising tide of societal misery and ruin. Remember this powerful truth and warn others as opportunity presents itself. It carries the clarity and authority of truth.
