The Daily Nosh – II Peter 1:12-13
Therefore, I intend to keep reminding you of these things, even though you know them and are well grounded in the truth that you have. I thinkit right to stir you up with a reminder, as long as I remain alive in this “tent” of a body. – II Peter 1:12-13
Nosh: Throughout Scripture we are taught that holy reminders are a key to sustaining righteous conduct. They stir up in our spirits the remembrance of forgotten truth. So how can we more effectively remind ourselves of these forgotten truths? I have found that spending time every day in God’s Word, going regularly to a house of worship, and allowing others to speak into my life, as Peter did in this case, are all very helpful.
