The Daily Nosh – II Kings 3:15-17
“Now bring me a musician.” Now, as the musician played, the hand of Adonai came upon him, and he said, “Thus says Adonai: Make this valley full of trenches. For thus says Adonai: You will not see wind nor will you see rain, yet this valley will be filled with water. So you will drink, both you and your cattle and your animals.” (TLV) II Kings 3:15-17
Nosh: This is an amazingly clear picture of how music facilitated quick and clear communication between God and man. What we can apply to our lives is that music is a spiritual lubricant. Integrating music into our daily interactions and quiet times with God will promote a deeper, richer, and more intimate relationship with Him.
