The Daily Nosh – I Timothy 2: 1-2
Therefore, first of all I urge you that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made on behalf of all people – for kings and all who are in authority – so we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all Godliness and respectfulness. (TLV) I Timothy 2: 1-2
Nosh: Living a peaceful and Godly life is a great blessing from God. This blessing is most obtained within a peaceful political and civil context in which religious liberty thrives. Disorder leads to violence and oppression of all types, including religious persecution. That is why our political and civil leaders should be, if not at the top of our prayer lists, at least on our prayer lists. They are on mine.
