For this is God’s will, that you will silence the ignorance of foolish men by doing good. (TLV) – I Peter 2:15
Nosh: This verse contains a key to great success in our lives and ministry for God. When we live a selfless and generous life filled with gracious and kind acts towards others, two very good things happen. First, to an onlooking public, our good works are evidence to our hearts selfless motivation which tends to lessen opposition. Second, and more important, the Lord personally gets involved to protect us, even silencing those who might seek to harm or hinder us. That is a divine promise worth remembering and standing on.
