The Daily Nosh – Hebrews 6:11-12
But we long for each of you to show the same eagerness for the certainty of hope to the very end – so you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those inheriting the promise through trust and perseverance. (TLV) – Hebrews 6:11-12
Nosh: The evidence of our faith and trust in God is our determination and persistence in actively pursuing God’s promises and His calling on our lives. The key to seeing God move supernaturally to answer prayer is to never give up…never stop believing God can and will fulfill His promises to us. To give up, as the verse says, is sluggishness or spiritual laziness. The fruit of spiritual laziness is to lose God’s active and supernatural promotion and response in our lives. That loss is tragic and its value cannot be calculated.
