The Daily Nosh – Exodus 13:14-15, 16b
“So when your son asks you in times to come, ‘What is this?’ say to him, ‘By a strong hand Adonai (the Lord) brought us out from Egypt, the house of bondage, and when Pharaoh refused to let us go, Adonai slew the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both men and animals. So I sacrifice to Adonai all firstborn males, but redeem the first born of my sons.’ …for by a strong hand Adonai brought us out of Egypt.” (TLV) Exodus 13:14-15, 16b
Nosh: Often reminding ourselves of God’s past miraculous interventions and deliverances and repeating them to others raises our faith and expectation in God to do the same in the present.
