The Daily Nosh – Deuteronomy 20:1
When you go out to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. (ESV) Deuteronomy 20:1
Nosh: When living our lives according to God’s calling and leading, like Israel, we may be confronted with new and threatening challenges that appear greater than our ability to overcome them. God commands and insists that we do not fear them but remember how He has delivered us in the past, that He is for us in the present and that He is greater than the threat we are confronting. Then…act in faith and move forward against the threat believing and expecting that God will once again help us gain the victory.
