The Daily Nosh – Daniel 8:27
And I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for some days. Then I rose and went about the king’s business, but I was appalled by the vision and did not understand it. (ESV) Daniel 8:27
Nosh: The prophet Daniel had a prophetic dream that deeply troubled and disturbed his spirit. God sent Israel’s assigned archangel, Gabriel, to interpret the dream for him. However, even after the supernatural interpretation, there were still some elements of the dream that continued to confuse and trouble him. Sometimes, there are things that happen to us in life that are troubling and incomprehensible even though we know we are living our life submitted to God. When this happens to me, I have learned to follow Daniel’s example to eventually leave it in God’s hands, trust that He knows best, and continue moving forward in life.
