Supporting Families After the Beit Shemesh Ballistic Missile Attack

Today, the Joseph Project International team visited families from Beit Shemesh who are currently staying in a Jerusalem hotel after being evacuated from their homes following the devastating Iranian ballistic missile strike that hit their neighborhood on March 1.

The missile struck a residential area, destroying a synagogue built above a public shelter and causing severe damage to surrounding buildings. Nine people were killed, dozens were injured, and many families were forced to evacuate after their homes were damaged or destroyed.

During our visit, the JPI team brought toys and activities for the children of these displaced families, helping create small moments of comfort during an incredibly difficult time.

More than anything, we came to show love and solidarity — reminding them that they are not alone. We see them, we stand with them, and we mourn with them in the wake of this terrible tragedy.

“I will bless those who bless you.”
