Restoring Clean Water to Ethiopian Jews: 55 Wells Repaired Through MJAA Ethiopia Relief Support

In 2025, the MJAA Ethiopia Relief made a major investment in restoring water wells across six woredas, supplying critical tools and materials.

During the first three quarters, maintenance was carried out on 55 water wells — 18 previously identified wells and 37 newly reported ones. Communities in Libo Kemkem, Tach Gynt, Hulet Eju Enesie, Mota Town, Gonder Zuria, and Gonder City now have restored access to safe drinking water.

These repairs not only protect families from waterborne diseases but also reduce the heavy burden placed on people who often walk long distances to collect water.

Thanks to your love, prayers and support, clean water continues to flow — bringing health, dignity, and hope.
