Messiah University is a large and hilly campus. You will be doing a lot of walking. Please bring appropriate walking shoes.
If you require a scooter, this service is not provided by the college or the MJAA. Each attendee will need to make arrangements with their insurance provider and a local Medical Supply company.

ROOMMATES: A roommate is anyone who shares your housing choice. This includes both family members and friends.
(Please note that we cannot house those of the opposite sex together, unless married or a family member).
Children 17 and under are automatically housed with the parent or chaperone.
IMPORTANT: The MJAA does not provide roommates.
In the Roommate Box on the registration form, please list ALL roommates. Your roommates must indicate your name, as well as any others sharing your housing.
This is how we know who is rooming together.
Roommates must choose the same housing option – either a shared dorm or a 1 or 2-bedroom apartment. If you have chosen the Apartment option, ALL roommates must choose this option. Housing is assigned in June. If the apartment is granted, only one credit card will be charged. This is a one time charge. You will be called in June if granted an apartment.
All roommates must be registered by May 31st so we are able to place you together when we do housing, which begins at that time.
If your roommate hasn’t registered by then, we will place you in a Private Dorm room and apply the Private room rate.
Those who have chosen an Apartment will be called.
Please be aware that these are empty, college style Dorms and Apartments. Please bring any amenities you may want during the week.
(for ex. Cookware, utensils, cups, hangers, extra towels, soap, shampoo, paper towels…)
At the end of your stay, please leave the room as you found it. Remove and dispose of all trash, food, and bedding from the room.
A service charge will be added for any damage, or extra cleaning, required.
