To commemorate Orphan Sunday in Israel (an international day of awareness for orphans and vulnerable children), we hosted a volunteer event at our center to pack boxes of toys, games, and group activities for a children’s village and a group home for girls. Although we regularly serve organizations that work with orphans and at-risk youth as part of our ongoing operations throughout the year, we cherish the opportunity to invite volunteers to join us on Orphan Sunday, shedding light on the plight of thousands of children in Israel and the ways in which everyone can do something to remember and bless these children.
