During wartime, The Joseph Project International Brings Hope to Makor HaTikvah School

Joel Chernoff, Founder and Executive Board Chairman of The Joseph Project International, recently visited Makor HaTikvah (Source of Hope), the only Messianic Jewish school in Israel, located in Jerusalem. This school has provided education to the Messianic Jewish community for 30 years, currently serving 150 students, including both Israeli and immigrant children. Under the leadership of Principal Yoel Russu, the school has been greatly affected by the ongoing war. Many parents have been called to serve in the army, and the school has taken in evacuated children from impacted communities, offering them free education and a safe environment.

During the visit, Joel Chernoff sang some of his songs for the children, and The Joseph Project International distributed board games to each child. This was done with the intention of providing a moment of joy amidst the stress and uncertainty caused by the war.

Thank you for standing with The Joseph Project International during these challenging times. Your support goes beyond meeting immediate needs—it’s about fostering resilience, restoring hope, and creating moments of peace amid turmoil.

“I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
