JP on Moldava/Ukraine Border
The Joseph Project is now engaging in strategic partnerships with other Messianic aid agencies active in Moldova, Poland and Romania. Just yesterday, the JP team, a joint effort with Israel Pochtar (Voice of Judah – Ashdod), arrived in Moldova and found an apartment close to the border with Ukraine. The Joseph Project is providing money, aid and human capital to these partnerships. Our efforts are being coordinated from our offices and warehouse in Israel. The following brief report was sent to us.
There is a great havoc and confusion and no organization. Many people are crossing the border and have nowhere to go. We have rented a vehicle and are driving families to community centers and churches who can host them.
We are purchasing basic supplies for the families, most of them mothers with children. The husbands are still in Ukraine fighting the Russians and unable to leave.
It is very cold and there is a need for warm clothing and blankets.
The team is assessing the needs and are in the process of purchasing the needed supplies.

Joseph Project/Ukrainian Aliyah to Israel
Just yesterday, the Joseph Project co-sponsored a major humanitarian event in Beersheva with the mainly poor Jews from Ukraine and Russia in that city. Attending were several officials from government and para-governmental organizations. Specifically, the head of the Jewish Agency in charge of all Aliyah to Israel. (See link to Hank Rich interview with him.)
The Joseph Project is officially designated by the government of Israel as an Israeli Ukrainian Emergency Organization and is working closely with the government and other aid agencies in Israel to prepare for and handle the plane loads of Jewish refugees making their way to Israel.
