There are now over 3 million refugees from the Ukrainian war in Poland, Moldova and Romania. No one knows how many of our Jewish people are among them but it must be in the tens of thousands at least. The Joseph Project is working in close partnership with the government of Israel, other Israeli charities and Israeli corporations in preparation for the soon arrival in Israel of the now projected 50,000 mainly Jewish refugees. This is in addition to caring for the Jewish refugees from war in Ukraine that are living in very difficult conditions in Poland, Moldova and Romania.
